Xurde Fernández joined Ginkgo’s environmental team in 2022 as a Project Egineer. He supports Ginkgo Iberia's projects in soil and water depollution, demolition and asbestos management. Additionally, he collaborates with the ESG department in the implementation of sustainability policies during the development of the projects. Prior to that, he worked as technical business developer of a remediation Vinci company in Spain.

Xurde holds a degree in mining engineering and a double master’s degree in Oviedo School and the École des Mines de Nancy.
