The former motorcycle factory of 0.6 ha site acquired in September 2018 is in the town of Châtillon, in the Hauts-de-Seine department, which is part of the Greater Paris Metropolis. The town is located approximately 3 km south of the 14th arrondissement of Paris and Paris-Orly airport is 13 km away.
The management of excavated land containing traces of metals and hydrocarbons will be carried out using standard earthworks management procedures. The site was also mined in the 19th century, leaving underground galleries that will need to be reinforced to ensure long-term geotechnical stability.
The planned programming includes housing (open and social), coliving areas, shops and logistics areas. The project targets the HQE level Excellent and Label BiodiverCity certifications, while the coliving development will target environmental certifications based on the demand of the hospitality company managing the space.
